Spokane String Quartet 4
Soprano Dawn Wolski has performed to critical acclaim for audiences around the world. One reviewer said she “delivered lines…with an elegance that produced chills.” Another said she was “ravishing, all the way up to a crystal clear high D.” And still another said “Wolski was musically compelling and extremely precise in rhythm and pitch – all with a divine, velvety tone.” She has been a favorite of Spokane audiences since she and her husband, Spokane Symphony Concertmaster (and SSQ First Violinist) Mateusz Wolski, arrived in town 18 years ago. Today she is singing Jake Heggie’s song cycle honoring French sculptor Camille Claudel.
